It will be three years ago in February I visited Japan for the first time. I was writing for the World Snowboard Guide, updating their Japan section by writing reviews on the Hokkaido ski resorts.
A few months after this trip, Steve Dowle from WSG Media asked me if I was interested in heading up a new guide book focusing exclusively on the land of the rising sun. Who could say no to that I ask? And thus, the Snow-search Japan concept was born.
Almost three years later and the book is finally hitting the shelves and available for purchase online.

My role as Coordinating Author was diverse as much as it was challenging. The trickiest aspect was managing contributions from a team of writers in a timely manner. Approximately 50% of the written content of the book is by my own fair hand, along with 10 or so images.
It was a great experience for me professionally and I am looking forward to seeing how the reviews stack up.
