Relaxation time in between my Northern and Southern Hemisphere winters is something that seems to elude me. This particular in-between-period has been dominated by a somewhat hectic travel schedule, the importing of a car from Japan, and a number of web writing projects.
One of these projects is crafting the copy (and providing input on design strategy) for Transition Snowsports, based out of Wanaka in New Zealand.

My brief was just that; “brief”… Punchy, quick-to-read text, targeting the 18-35 ski/snowboard market. My full involvement in the the project included helping establish a new brand name, assessing content requirements, establish strategy and style of copy, content information architecture, and finally writing the actual text itself.
