It’s been a few years since I’ve had shots published in print – ahhh, the dreaded world of web has been taking over.

During a snowboarding trip in Japan last year, riding with two of my favourite cohorts Richie Johnston and Abby Peterson, I snapped a couple of rather nice deep pow images. A few months later, Richie proceeded to pass these images on to the publisher of a new magazine, along with his own draft story of the trip.

Three months further on and the article came to fruition. Six months after that the first edition of this new magazine was in my hands… Say Yes To Adventure has hit the shelves!

It’s great to see my work in print again, rather than the digital media I’ve been so focused on lately. It reminds me that something more tangible, an object that you can hold in your hands, is typically a tad more gratifying. We rely so much on sight and sound for our experiences in today’s technology-centered world that we often forget about the sensation of touch. And this magazine is really nice to touch!

Say Yes To Adventure is a brand new print magazine publication out of New Zealand, featuring inspiring stories, photographs and illustrations, all based around the common theme of Adventure.
